Regional Training Institute,
Avadi,Chennai is situated with in HVF Training School
Campus, Avadi. It is one of the nodal Training
Institute established by Ordnance Factory Board, Kolkata, Govt of India,
Ministry of Defence, Department of Defence Production and supplies in the year
1996 for imparting training to Gr "B" Officer/Staff and Gr
"C" staff of Ordinance factories and their allied
establishments. The core
competency of this Institute is Personnel Administration, Industrial
Engineering and AV Production Technology. .
This Institute is offering various courses round the year. It is having well equipped Lecture Hall. Also it has well planned Local Area Network system for imparting computer courses. It is also having a well furnished hostel with good boarding arrangements. This Institute is having well trained faculties. Apart from them it is also inviting qualified, well experienced and practical oriented faculties from various reputed Institutions as well as from Ordinance factories and allied establishments.
